If you’ve ever wondered what it’s actually like to be in a TV writers* room, join TV Showrunners Lorien McKenna and Sean Presant for this Mock Writers Room experience.
Together we will break an episode of SCHITT’S CREEK and along the way, you’ll learn what to expect of a showrunner, your fellow writers, and yourself. You’ll also learn what not to do! This is a great way to understand what it's like to be in a room and set you up for success on your first day as a staff writer.
No experience is necessary.
The only requirement is that you watch at least two episodes of SCHITT’S CREEK so that you're familiar with the show.

**Special Guest** Sean Presant is an Emmy-nominated and NAACP Image Award-winning writer, producer, showrunner, and director. His credits include The Wayne Brady Show, Happily Divorced, Wipeout, Instant Mom, Tab Time, Almost Paradise, Planet Sheen, The Deal, and others. He has worked for ABC, NBC, TVLand, Nickelodeon, YouTube, MTV, Showtime, and Amazon, and is a mentor with the Cinestory Foundation.
